For Android
You can download the Crickex app for Android for free because of its features. Ensure you have Android 12 or higher installed (it works from Android 5 upwards but we recommend a higher version):
- Visit the website cxwelcome.com by tapping “play mobile” below.
- Locate the area for mobile apps in the main navigation. Go to the mobile app area, look for the “App” symbol, and click to download the app.
- Click the installation button after selecting the notice for the free downloaded apk file. (6.7 MB file size)
- Access the “Security” settings (or “Apps” settings for certain devices)
- Enable the “Unknown sources” option by checking the corresponding box. This will allow you to download and install the desired app.
After successfully downloading and installing the app, you can revert the “Unknown sources” setting to the disabled state within your security settings for added protection.
For iOS
Crickex currently doesn’t have an iOS mobile app. In the interim, iOS users may access the mobile website version, which works and has the same interface as the app. You will be able to download it by following the steps outlined below:
- Open the web app on your device by clicking the “Play Mobile” Button on this site
- Tap the “Share” button in your browser
- Scroll a bit down and tap “Add to Home Screen”
- Done

Security redommendation
One must be careful regarding security threats concerning APK files or while installing web applications. Always download APKs from reliable sources, such as the official website of Cricket Sports, to mitigate the risk of downloading malware, viruses, and other security threats. The above risks can, however, addressed in the Cricket Sports PWA since it is purely a web app and Android app; thus, no files from untrusted sources are downloaded.
